The owners have 2 adult bikes, 1 with a child seat, as well as a child's bike, that may be available on request.

Why Kids Love it

The residence has plenty of toys and books for kids under 10 and is a great family space. The backyard has lots of room to play and has a small basketball court, toddler toys such as a slide and playhouse, and ample sports equipment. It's a short walk to local playgrounds and ice cream, pizza, and donut shops. Upon request, the hosts can offer a high chair, pack’n’play, baby bath, stroller, and anything else a young family might need.

We are a family of four from New Orleans. We joined Kid & Coe to find more family friendly accommodations for our adventures as well as for the possibility of pursuing home exchanges for other families wanting to visit our wonderful city. We particularly love to travel to places with beautiful outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, biking, etc.), and we are hoping to expand our travel to include more cities and international destinations as the kids grow.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Beignets, jazz and streetcar tours

This rich city has so much to offer families it’s hard to know where to start. Beyond its impressive architecture and inspiring musical heritage, it’s got fantastic food (beignets, anyone?), zoos, aquariums and a slew of superb museums. You can try Mardi Gras costumes on at the Mardi Gras Museum, explore voodoo at the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum or pilot a tugboat at the Louisiana Children’s Museum. Explore the city by streetcar or steamboat, visit alligator swamps and haunted mansions, or just dig into plates of insanely delicious food and enjoy the ride.
