Perks for the Parents
Nestled on a classically London-style garden square surrounded by handsome stuccoed townhouses, this modern apartment is the perfect place to explore one of London’s most popular neighborhoods. It sleeps 4 + 1. Discover the vibrant street markets in Portobello Road or wander past to the more exclusive stores of Westbourne Grove - this area is a shopper’s paradise.
Why Kids Love it
While there are no toys or books for children here, it’s spacious enough for small families and there’s a private terrace with an astro-turf lawn so kids can get some fresh air. There’s a neighborhood playground just 10 minutes away on foot and it’s a short drive to the noteworthy Princess Diana Memorial Playground in Hyde Park. Older kids and teens will love the vibrant scene of Notting Hill with markets, music and lots of nightlife.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. This apartment is on the lower ground floor with steps to access and steps up to the garden terrace. The primary bedroom features a chair bed that can sleep an extra guest on request (best suited to a child).
About the Location
This building is located in a myriad of pretty Notting Hill streets, just a few blocks from Portobello Road market. It’s 5-10 minutes’ walk up to Ladbroke Grove subway station or 12 minutes’ walk to Notting Hill Gate subway station. This area is ideal for international travel - it’s just a quick 15-minute trip to Paddington Station for connections to Heathrow Airport.
Accommodation Details
The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The open plan living/dining room has a table for 5 and leads to a fully equipped kitchen. The primary bedroom features a double bed plus a single chair/sofa bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom has a shower-over-bath combo.
Style Notes
Green and serene. The hosts have decorated using soft, soothing tones of sage to create a relaxing space away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. The bedrooms continue the theme with serene accents and neutral decor. We love the colorful wall art, the bold blue kitchen and bathroom tiles and the uber-modern striking exterior.

Notting Hill, London
Movie stars, museums and the market
This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.
