Perks for the Parents
A well-located duplex nestled between Holland Park, Notting Hill and Shepherds Bush, packed with period features. It sleeps 6. Occupying the third and fourth floor of a classic London townhouse, this Regency apartment is both charming and elegant. Parents will love the traditional architecture and great location, while families of all ages will enjoy being in this leafy, residential part of the city.
Why Kids Love it
The apartment doesn’t come with toys or books for children, but it’s well-placed to explore all that London has to offer for families. It’s just 5 minutes’ walk to Holland Park playground for younger kids, while older children and teens will love visiting bustling Shepherds Bush (10 minutes’ walk) which is home to the Westfield Shopping Centre, cinemas, music venues and more.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. This home is set over the third floor and fourth floors with no lift. A dog usually lives here so this might not be the best option for those with allergies. One room (not pictured) will be locked with no guest access. Heathrow airport is under 1 hour away by car or train.
About the Location
The residence is located in Holland Park, neighboring both Notting Hill and Shepherds Bush in west London. This is one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, with the street facing one of Notting Hill’s famous private garden squares. Holland Park (5 minutes’ walk) is home to the Design Museum and it’s just 10 minutes’ walk to the colorful streets of Notting Hill for the famous Portobello Market and restaurants of Notting Hill Gate. The nearest stations are Holland Park tube (5 minutes), Shepherds Bush train and tube (10 minutes) or Latimer Road (15 minutes).
Accommodation Details
The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 2 floors with no elevator. Downstairs, the eat-in kitchen offers a dining table for 4, while the adjoining living room has a grand, library feel. On the upper floor, there’s a double room and a primary kingsize bedroom, which also features an ensuite bathroom. Both bathrooms have a walk-in shower and bathtub. There’s also a small stylish study equipped with a desk and office chair.
Style Notes
Regency classic. Soft tones and Georgian sash windows keep things light and fresh throughout, while the cozy living room encourages early nights with its plush furnishings, generously-stocked bookcases and large TV. We love the modern art pieces, the vintage mirror in the study and the traditional original windows.

Notting Hill, London
Movie stars, museums and the market
This pretty, arty and desirable area of West London has characterful streets of Georgian and Victorian houses, the vibrant Portobello Market on a Saturday and easy access to the rest the city. Close to Kensington Garden and Palace, it has Gloucester Road’s blockbuster museums on the doorstep, including the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. And - tell the kids - it’s also the area that Paddington Bear calls home.
