Located in a private neighborhood while being just minutes from all the action of this outdoor resort, it’s the perfect base for a family vacation, with plenty of space for 2 families to share or a multi-generational trip. Don’t feel like renting a car? Take a quick walk to the slopes, jump on the free public bus, or simply call the Canyons Direct shuttle service for a ride. It’s also just a few minutes (or a few shuttle stops away) from the lifts at Park City Mountain Resort, as well as all of the world-class dining, shopping and entertainment in Old Town.

Why Kids Love it

There are 2 bunk rooms to choose from here, so siblings or friends can share. The resort offers a ski school for kids (or adults!) and there’s a dedicated terrain park for kids aged 3-6 and a childcare center for kids as young as 6 weeks old. Kids will also love the other alpine activities here, including sleigh rides, snowshoe hikes or ziplining (year-round). There’s even a ‘ski beach’ where kids can play in the snow while parents grab a drink at the Umbrella Bar apres ski area. If the weather gets too chilly, take a trip on the orange bubble chair lift, which has heated seats and a bright orange enclosure for a cozy and unique ski experience!

Style Notes

Luxury lodge. This classic ski cabin bears all the trademarks of a traditional chalet, with exposed rustic wooden beams, a cozy stone fireplace and warming patterned textiles. Despite its comfortable appearance, the space feels luxurious and contemporary, having been renovated for modern families. We love the dark wooden kitchen cabinetry, the black iron frame beds and the unusual angled windows in the living space which flood the area with light and frame the natural views.

Park City, Utah

Playtime in the snow

With three world class ski resorts, everything revolves around the white stuff in Park City, and that means skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snow tubing and more. When the powder melts away in April, wildflowers push their way into the air and slopes become a different sort of playground where ski trails become horseback riding routes and ziplines replace skis as the quickest way down the mountains. Free concerts bring life and culture to the city on summer evenings, although the most famous cultural event of the year is undoubtedly the Sundance Film Festival at Deer Valley Resort in January.
