Style Notes

Classic Italy. Built in the late 1600s, Piantoni has been carefully restored to preserve its original character and charm. With hand-carved ceiling beams, reclaimed terracotta floor tiles and wrought iron fittings, there is historic character and style throughout. Modern comforts include a fully-equipped kitchen, indoor dining area with comfortable seating for 6, and outdoor dining under a vine-covered portico by the barbecue. An expansive herb garden is just outside the kitchen window so fresh herbs can garnish your meals. We love the rustic style, beautiful gardens and fabulous estate.

I feel so very fortunate to have been enjoying life at Villa Piantoni for the past 17 years! Piantoni is located in the idyllic region of Umbria, on the private Estate of Antognolla. The estate offers an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, a golf pro shop, full-service restaurant with cafe and bar, and hiking and biking trails. The medieval castle of Antognolla is in the process of being restored and will soon start a new chapter as an international luxury resort.
