Perks for the Parents

This 2-bedroom apartment in a villa walking distance from the historic heart of Perugia shares a pool, gardens and a children’s playground with 2 other apartments in the same villa. Surrounded by pine trees, vineyards and olive trees, it is just 15 minutes’ walk from the historic center of Perugia in the heart of Umbria with no need for car rental - shops, pizza restaurants and more are a short walk away. The owners live in the villa and are on hand to help with anything. The villa is furnished with antiques and includes high speed WiFi, a jacuzzi bath, dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is romantic with cabanas, a barbecue area, an aromatic garden and a salt water color therapy pool.

Why Kids Love it

Kids love the salt water swimming pool, which has a color therapy system, along with the playground (great for younger children) and the garden. There is a ping pong table. There is space to play in the garden but younger children may need supervision as there are some steps and raised areas. Children can pick from the herb garden - stocked with sage, rosemary, mint, asparagus, thyme and basil - for dinner. The hosts can help suggest nearby attractions for families, language courses and local pizzerias. The second bedroom can be set up with twin beds or a full size/double as required; there is a sofa bed in the lounge to sleep another child.

Umbrian charm. This comfortable villa dates to the 15th century and has antiques, tiled floors and a traditional fireplace, plus luxurious touches including poolside cabanas and high quality orthopedic mattresses. A unique touch is the romantic ceilings in some of the bedrooms - during the day they are normal white ceilings, but at night they fill with light-up stars.

A typical Italian family The Villa Nuba family consists of me, Giuseppe, my son Lorenzo, my parents Luigi and Bruna and Mr Pato, our cat. Everybody adore painting and art in general, Luigi likes Jazz and culture in general, Bruna loves to cook delicious dishes with the help of old recipes handed down from generations. She also likes taking care of the plants and flowers in the villa’s garden together with her good friend Anna. Lorenzo is a happy and sweet three-years-old toddler and he obviously loves to play. He loves animals, daddy … and his grandmother’s delicious food. He love play at the safe playground of the villa as swim in the salt water pool. Mr. Pato is a very sweet and plump cat who wanders around the garden searching for food and cuddles. We must not forget the many birds that live in the trees of the villa and that cheer the days with their soothing songs. The whole family is literally in love with this land, ancient Umbria, full of history and vegetation, and we can’t wait to share this passion with our guests.
