Why Kids Love it

Three unique kids bedrooms, including one with a playful bunk bed, are equipped with toys, lots of Legos, dolls, boos and games. There is a play tent, table football game and a full size punching bag with boxing gloves for the smallest and biggest hands, to entertain the whole family; a cargo city bike is provided to discover Amsterdam with the children. The musically-inclined will love the family piano and acoustic guitar. Three high chairs are provided at the family table, with children's tableware and a child-sized table and chairs in the kitchen. Kids will love having the ability to either play in the gym-sized living room, or to play hide-and-seek in one of the adventures sailing-ship-like bedrooms.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 days. Located on the third floor without an elevator or outdoor space. There is a balcony accessible from the parent’s bedroom. It is secured with a professional lock. There is paid parking on public streets, and there is almost always a place very close to the front door. The master bedroom has air conditioning. A family cargo bike is provided and WiFi, TV, game console and dishwasher included. About 20 minutes to Schiphol airport by car or taxi.

About the Location

The residence is in the Plantage area, an A1-location in the centre of Amsterdam with excellent opportunities for kids. The Artis Zoo is around the corner, kids can play and discover in the NEMO Science Museum for kids (10 minutes walk), or play pirates in the nearby Scheepvaartmuseum (The National Maritime Museum), that shows how the culture that has been shaped by the sea. It has stimulating, interactive exhibitions allowing visitors to explore 500 years of maritime history, including a children-friendly full-sized sailing ship from the 17th century (8 minutes walk away). Kids can also play on the public tennis court / children’s playground right across the street in front of the house. The neighbourhood is full of playgrounds. Seven minutes walk away Tunfun is one of those mythical indoor giga-super-playgrounds with endless possibilities for children. . Tram and Metro station are a 300m walk and the Amsterdam Central Station is less than 1 km away. A large supermarket is a 5-minute walk.

Upstairs includes a cozy room with fullsize bed (and Netflix TV) and 3 children’s bedrooms, including a bunk bed and 2 with twinsize beds. The spacious bathroom with rainshower and modern tub has great views over Amsterdam.
