We love traveling! Our favorite destinations are Europe and Mexico. Would love to do the exchange program and travel to other destinations. We are an active family and love living in Portland where we can bike and walk to so many attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at the N Emerson Residence. The home is well furnished with child bed, toys and baby crib. My children had a wonderful time playing with the toys and playing in the cute yard. We had easy access to great restaurants and shopping. It was no more than a 15 minute walk to Alberta Street. Melissa provided clear and simple instructions about their home and a nice list of restaurants and sights to see in the area. We had a wonderful time in Portland in part because of our stay in this cute and spacious home. Thanks Melissa!!

Portland, Oregon

gorges, galoshes and rose bushes

Located in the Pacific Northwest, Portland has the lockdown on alternative cool. Its rainy season seems to go on for months, but the drizzly days bring azaleas once spring rolls around. And those downpours give you an excuse to while away hours at the Portland Children’s Museum. When the sun comes out, order a scoop at one of the gourmet ice cream shops or splash in a fountain. Public transportation makes it a cinch to zip between neighborhoods, though you’ll need a car to get to prime hiking spots. Head outside of the city to marvel at waterfalls and pick fruit at Sauvie Island Farms.
