Perks for the Parents
This beautiful apartment in desirable Primrose Hill is a bright, inviting space packed with toys, just a 10-minute stroll from Primrose Hill playground. Colorful and charming, it comprises the top 2 floors of a Victorian building moments from the best shops, pubs and amenities of Regent's Park Road. The flat is decorated in a cheery, Danish modern style with decor reflecting life in London and travels around the world.
Why Kids Love it
It is all about family, with no shortage of books, toys or games to entertain children. You'll find a bin of arts and craft supplies under the bed and board games in the reception room cupboards. Just around the corner is the picturesque Chalcot Square, a small gated park with swings and other playground toys for young kids. It is a 10-minute walk to Primrose Hill playground, ideal for older kids.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 1 week. There is no TV in the flat. There are stairs throughout, so for kids just crawling, walking or not used to making their way down stairs, extra supervision will be needed. There are no stair gates. Parking is available and can be arranged on street for £20/day. A Stokke high chair is available upon request, as is a travel cot with bedding. Car rental not necessary with great public transport links nearby: the tube stop at Chalk Farm in a 5-minute walk and Camden Town is about 10 minutes away. Buses run along Prince Albert Road while Uber or Black Cabs are quick to arrive when hailed by app. The host would offer a reduced weekly rate for stays of 28 days or more. Please contact the host for further details.
About the Location
Primrose Hill is an oasis in central London. Cut off from the busy city with very little traffic, the streets have wide pavements and are lined with some of London's best, independently-owned cafés, shops and restaurants. A short walk down the leafy canals will bring you to the bustling and colourful Camden Lock Markets. Head the other direction down the canal for Regent's Park and the London Zoo, just a 10-minute walk. Carry on from here through the park to trendy Marylebone or further to Soho. Heathrow airport is 45 minutes away by car/taxi.
Accommodation Details
This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment is set over 2 floors. The top floor includes a master bedroom with queensize bed and a second bedroom with queensize bed and a hallway with a piano. The lower floor has an open plan living/dining area and a compact kitchen with breakfast bar. The bathrooms have a shower and bathtub. There is no outside space.
Style Notes
Warm and welcoming. The residence is decorated in a simple and warm style, with Danish modern pieces mixed with other treasures and finds from life in London and the family’s world travels. Walls are white and the upstairs bedrooms benefit from charming sloping ceilings. We love the abundant plants, the dreamcatchers on the walls and the deep pile Moroccan rugs.
