The Paddington Crescent Residence
Perks for the Parents
A colorful family home in a grand 4-storey townhouse, just moments from pretty Primrose Hill village and London Zoo. It sleeps 6. This notable street was used for the exterior of the homes in the Paddington films - a colorful curving road filled with beautiful, tall period homes. Locals and tourists flock to sought-after Primrose Hill for its picturesque streets, delicious eateries and close proximity to the west and central parts of the city. This particular house also has a separate bedroom and bathroom on the lower ground floor, so it has the perfect set up for parents traveling with grandparents or a nanny.
Why Kids Love it
This is a great kids bedroom, with bunk beds to share and a few toys and books for children to enjoy. Fans of the Paddington film will love staying in this iconic destination and visiting the film’s local hangouts - the antique shops in Portobello Road or the historic Paddington Station (both 15 minutes in a cab). London Zoo is practically on your doorstep (10 minutes’ walk or a 5-minute cab ride) and it’s worth exploring the rest of Regents Park while you’re there, too. Run off some steam in Primrose Hill park and playground (less than 5 minutes’ walk) and finish up at Sweet Things bakery for cupcakes.

Accommodation Details
This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 4 floors with no internal elevator. Downstairs on the entrance the layout centers on the open plan kitchen, living and dining space, which opens into a private, leafy garden. There’s a cozy separate lounge at the front and a light-filled dining area at the back. Upstairs there’s a second living room with 2 gloriously large windows and the children’s bedroom, with a set of bunk beds. Up again to the primary bedroom on the top floor, you’ll find a kingsize bed, TV and decorative fireplace. This floor also boasts the main bathroom, with a roll-top bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The lower ground floor houses the second kingsize bedroom, complete with its own shower room.
Style Notes
A London classic. The hosts have created beautiful interiors to match the attractive exterior, with a blend of contemporary and classic styling. Grey herringbone floors and white walls give it a modern look in the living areas, and the kitchen is sleek, contemporary and equipped with all the essentials. The lounge artwork is bold and bright, supersized to match the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, while the clever glass ceiling and botanical dining chairs bring the outside in to this garden-level area. We love the industrial-style exposed brickwork in the sunny dining space, that spectacular floral print wallpaper in the downstairs bathroom and the gorgeous traditional fireplaces.
