Why Kids Love it

There are plenty of toys and books for kids under 5; for older kids there are fishing poles, canoes and kayaks, great for the spring and summer on the lake. My husband is a photographer and I co-founded heymama.co. We live in New York with our 4 year old daughter who loves ballet, gymnastics, digging up worms, picking flowers, fishing, painting and playing outside. We love traveling to laid back relaxing places which usually includes lots of beach time. My husband is from Australia and we go for a pretty long trip every year. Since becoming parents we really enjoying renting beautiful houses where we feel more at easy and can totally relax. A kitchen is a must when traveling with little ones. When I heard about Kid & Coe it was perfect for us, I'm always searching for kid friendly homes and this really makes the search easier.

Hi We had a lovely time. The home was very comfortable and great for kids. It was amazing to be right on the lake. This place should be amazing in the summer especially.

Putnam Valley, Hudson Valley

The town of lakes

Around 45 minutes north of New York City, this delightful town has three lakes, including Lake Oscawana, along with free-roaming deer, nature trails and farmer’s markets. Summers are spent exploring the lakes and rocks, autumns are a time to kick up leaves in the forests and winter brings ice fishing, cross country skiing and crackling fires.
