The house was designed for life with 3 young children and is suited to guests with kids of all ages. The main level and third floor are open plan for ease of vision. A MIL apartment gives additional privacy with extended family members, it makes a great home to gather in with a larger group.

Why Kids Love it

This beautiful house was designed with kids in mind. The house is stocked with all the essentials for young children including baby gates, pack’n’plays, high chairs, toys, movies, games and more. There is a large fully-fenced yard with play house, slide and swings, and an enormous playground across the street. Older kids will enjoy the third level bunk room, which includes a queensize bed and 2 bunkbeds (sleeping up to 6), and the movie theater room on the same level.

Style Notes

Modern farmhouse. The house was rebuilt in 2015 mixing a light-filled open layout with playful character-laden details such as wide plank wood flooring, trough sinks, subway tiles, and salvaged firehouse doors. The kitchen features an oversized farmhouse style sink, 6-burner Bertazzoni range, integrated 36" Liebherr fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffeemaker, microwave, and convection oven. It has featured in Design*Sponge and Apartment Therapy, and has been used in production for several large companies and popular blogs and social media accounts. We love the quirky and colorful art - a map of the London tube in one room, an oil painting in another and children’s pictures in another; the light and sunny spaces and the fun family playspace on the third floor.

Daniel is a pediatric dentist and I am a Realtor. We have a well behaved 8 year old + 5 year old, as well as, a 3 year old ;) Between work and kid activities, we dont have much time, but when we do, we enjoy working on old houses and enjoying the PNW as a family. We are just starting to take bigger trips with the kids and are looking forward to broadening everyone's travel experiences!

We had a great stay in the 7th Ave residence. Everything needed was close at hand, and Sarah was responsive and communicative at all times. We would definitely return if in the area! Thank you!

We had a very nice stay at the 7th St residence. We had everything we needed and lots of space. It was the perfect spot for a family trip. Our son loved the play structure in the backyard and playground across the street. Being walking distance to a bakery, grocery store and several restaurants was a plus. It was an easy Lyft into downtown too, which made for fun day trips. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with great and responsive hosts! :)

Queen Anne, Seattle

Cozy bakeries and Space Needle views

Five minutes from downtown Seattle yet removed from the bustle of the city, Queen Anne is on top of a hill overlooking the Space Needle, Puget Sound and city at large. The neighbors are friendly folk: join them at regular local festivals and at the Thursday night Farmers Market. Don’t miss Le Rêve Bakery for an easy breakfast, Kerry Park for green space and views of the city lights as far as Mount Rainier, and the Seattle Center for culture, sport and year-round events.
