Perks for the Parents

A fully renovated Cape Cod home on half an acre lot, with a children’s playground in the garden. It sleeps 6 + 2. This home is ideal for a family with children, while having a guest ensuite room that’s ideal for an extra couple, grandparents, nanny or au pair. Parents will love the luxurious bathrooms and the contemporary kitchen, where you can easily whip up family meals while the kids play safely in the garden.

Why Kids Love it

Children love this home as it's set on a peaceful lot in Duke Forest which is quiet and wooded. The half acre of space makes playing barefoot in the yard comfortable, as there’s also a playground, a trampoline with netting and zipper, ninja line and fire pit. The back patio makes for extra square footage, and indoors there is plenty of children's books, toys, games, legos and trains. The hosts also have a crib and high chair - ask for other baby essentials if you need them.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. Safety notes: this home is safe, with outlet protectors, stair gates, and main floor entry on ground level. There are no steep drop-offs, and the stars curve around (as opposed to one long stairwell). There is ample parking in the driveway, as well as one spot under a covered carport. Car rental is recommended.

Style Notes

Charming cape cod. This beautiful home was fully renovated 5 years ago. It maintains a traditional yet contemporary presence, featuring marble countertops in the kitchen, bright light from the windows, tasteful selections in the bathrooms and lovely finishes throughout with furniture, art, and decor. We love the downstairs bathrooms with beautifully fixed marble, the nature-inspired artwork and the antique wooden furniture.
