This attractive and elegant family home with a large leafy private back garden is in a quiet neighborhood and has plenty of room for all the family. There is a work from home area. A preferred babysitter can be arranged on demand. There is a first floor suite ideal for in-laws or a nanny, and a full entertainment room on the first floor, along with a separate formal living room space and a full laundry room.

Why Kids Love it

It’s a great property for kids of all ages: older children can range around the large private yard, which has a basketball area, outdoor seating and an entertainment space, as well as a sprawling lawn. There is a playspace in the basement with video games and children’s toys for ages 3-14. A crib is available and there are outlet plugs. The area has good cycle paths and there are bikes available to borrow. There is a piano.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 4 nights. The residence is pet friendly but furry guests will incur a $500 fee. There are electrical outlet protectors on the first floor common areas. Support staff are available 24 hours a day. The residence is steps away from a private country club in a quiet high end residential neighborhood. Car hire is recommended for this residence; there is driveway parking at the property. The residence is in the prestigious Manor Park neighborhood of Rockville, DC, just minutes from the Metro to DC and downtown attractions. It is a 40-minute drive from Ronald Reagan Washington Airport and a 40-minute drive from Dulles International Airport. Local family-friendly attractions nearby include Rock Creek Park, a Soccerplex and Montgomery County Library, plus an adventure playground and mini golf. Downtown Washington DC and the Smithsonian museums are a 30-minute drive away.

This 5-bedroom home has a gourmet kitchen, dining room with seating for 10, and a bedroom with kingsize bed and half bathroom on the first floor. This floor also has an entertainment room, a TV entertainment room and another half bathroom. On the second floor there is a bedroom with kingsize bed and full bathroom and 3 children’s rooms. There is also a full laundry room, basement with TV area, office space, half bathroom and doggie shower. There is a private yard.

Comfortable and stylish. This family home has elegant modern touches, including glass tables, chrome lamps and end tables and stylish custom fixtures. It is comfortable and attractive with attention to detail and functionality. We love the curvaceous sofa, the print wallpaper and the chandelier in the welcoming lounge, and all the sleek touches in the gourmet kitchen. The gardens are a real draw, especially in the autumn months.
