This traditional Provencal villa has been updated with contemporary interiors to create a calming space for a relaxing getaway. It’s an easy walk to the village shops, eateries and bakery, and a short drive to explore some of the region’s most beautiful towns. Spend your days relaxing by the pool or playing with the kids in the garden - this is the perfect place for the whole family to recharge.

Why Kids Love it

Kids will find toys, books and garden games to play with during their stay, including a ping pong table, petanque balls and kids bikes. The pool is heated so babies and toddlers can take a dip whatever the weather. Baby equipment is available on request: ask the hosts for stair gates, children’s utensils, travel crib or high chairs. Older kids or teens will love a trip to the Wave Island water park (around half an hour away) or the Zoo Barben wild animal park (45 minutes’ drive).

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 4 nights in low season and 7 nights in summer. Tourist tax is not included and should be paid directly to the host on arrival (approximately 4EUR per adult per night, depending on location). Safety notes: the house is totally fenced for security, with an automatic gate and visio phone for additional safety; the 8x4m pool is secured with an alarm but not gated, so young children should be supervised while outdoors. There is space to park 4 cars outside - car hire is recommended to explore the area. The residence comes with air conditioning throughout, bikes to borrow, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV and WiFi. Pets are welcome on request.

About the Location

The property is located half a mile from the center of Eyragues in Provence, France. It’s 5 minutes’ drive to the town of Saint Rémy de Provence (with art galleries, bakeries, weekly markets and restaurants), 15 minutes’ drive to the larger town of Avignon (for a wide choice of eateries and museums), and 1 hour to the picturesque town of Aix en Provence. Marseille airport is 50 minutes’ drive, while Avignon TGV train station is 15 minutes away. It’s just over an hour’s drive to the beaches and harbor towns on the south coast. Public transport is limited but there are private taxis and Uber available.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. On the ground floor, there’s an open kitchen with fireplace and TV area, a dining room with round table seating 8, a laundry room, and a bright double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 more double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. For additional guests, there’s also a double sofa bed and 1 travel crib. Outside there is a large garden and terrace with a seating area, plus a pizza oven and barbecue.

30% of the total cost of the stay is paid on booking acceptance if the check in date is more than 60 days away. If the check in date is 60 days or less, 100% of the total cost of the stay is to be paid on booking acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Up to 60 days prior to arrival, 30% of the total amount is non-refundable. Between 60 days and date of arrival, if the client cancels, full payment is still required.
