There is a fine Italian restaurant and shops in the same building. The apartment has air conditioning. Housekeeping is included.

About the Location

The residence is in downtown Sayulita, a 2-minute walk from the beach. It is in a lively, sociable spot: there may be some noise from town. The restaurant downstairs plays a little music, mostly chill out and relaxed. The closest airport is in Puerta Vallarta, 40 minutes’ drive away. Car rental recommended if you are planning to explore beyond Sayulita. Parking is on street or in a public parking around the corner.

Accommodation Details

This large loft apartment is one of a series of 4 and has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. It is a little larger than the standard loft apartments in the series and has a mezzanine level. It has a main open plan space with kitchen, bathroom and dining area leading to a double bedroom with balcony. The mezzanine level has a sofa bed/lounge area with small balcony. The apartment is part of a complex with a restaurant and shops.

Style Notes

Sayulita’s take on industrial chic. This colorful and lively apartment is chock-full of details from neon Acapulco chairs to palapa-style ceilings and suspended plants. The space is unique and was designed in a conceptual and modern way. Vintage and handmade furniture add a dash of true Sayulita style. We love the sunny balcony, the lounge space and the vibrant textiles.

Tacos, tortillas and chocolate-dipped bananas

It’s all about the sea here in beautiful Sayulita, a quirky, hippy and very desirable Mexican Riviera town with cute shops and a buzzing beach scene. Kids can play, dig, whale watch and spot sea turtles; for parents there’s surf, yoga and stand up paddle boarding as well as a relaxing pace of life.
