Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees, this one-story villa on a complex with a shared swimming pool in the Chianti countryside is ideal for a family of up to 5 + 1. With a double bedroom plus twin and single bedrooms, it works well if you have 3 children, and a crib can be added if necessary. There’s plenty of space to play around the complex and there is also a small private garden with outdoor eating area at the villa itself. The kids will love running in fields around the villa and chasing the pigeons in Siena’s Piazza del Campo.

What we love

  • Compact kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine
  • Lounge-diner with sofas and dining table for 6
  • Double bedroom with tiled floor and beamed ceiling

We spent two whole weeks there with our three kids and we loved it! We felt right at home, the pool was heavenly after a day spent under the tuscan sun, and we ate on the terrasse almost every nights. Even though it's a complex, the architechture is done is such a way that it feels like there a no neighbors.

Siena, Tuscany

Crazy horses and cobbled squares

Siena’s ravishing medieval architecture is usually lost on children. Pique their interest with an adventure up the bell tower, a gallop through the narrow streets and a gelato at half time. Jazz drifts through the air from the local jazz school and twice a year, ten men race around the square bareback on horses in a wild race called the Palio.
