It sleeps 8 + 1. Enjoy picturesque and world renowned skiing and hiking by day and relax in the condo’s shared spa in the evening. All the bedrooms here have their own bathroom, making the property ideal to share with friends or older kids.

Why Kids Love it

Inside, there are games, books and toys for kids (plus DVD player and TV equipped with Neflix and Amazon Prime). Outside, there’s space to play in the large open areas next to the condo, and kids can sled down the hill. The resort offers family friendly world class skiing as well as an ice rink with bumper cars at Steamboat Howelsen Ice Arena (10 minutes’ drive), a playground for younger children at Whistler Park (0.5 mile walk) and the must-visit Lyon’s Corner Drug Store (8 minutes’ drive) for milkshakes, desserts and old-fashioned soda fountain. Further afield, check out Saddleback Range (30 minutes’ drive) for sleigh rides, horseback riding and snow tube rides.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. The condo is set over 3 floors (stair gates are available). The residence has a pack-n-play, high chair, children’s dinnerware, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV, DVD player and WiFi. There is parking in the heated garage for one car and on the driveway for up to 4 additional cars. There is a shared spa in the center of the condo complex.

About the Location

This property is located in the Steamboat Springs area of Colorado, USA. The house is next to Whistler Village bus station for free bus travel to the mountain or downtown. It is located next to the bike route (with easy access to downtown) and is walking distance to the mountain (15 minutes, or a 4 minute drive). As well as the world renowned ski runs, the resort has events all summer and winter: visit the Old Town Hot Springs (3 miles) for family fun on the water slides, kids pool and waterfalls - plus childcare options for adults who want to swim or work out - and check out the seasonal activities downtown (rodeos, restaurants, and free concerts). Fly into Yampa Valley Regional Airport (40 minutes’ drive) or Denver International Airport (3.5 hours away).

Accommodation Details

This residence has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. Each of the bedrooms has 1 queensize bed and an ensuite bathroom (2 bathrooms have tubs). There are an additional 2 twin/single beds for 2 more people to sleep in a cozy hall between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. There is a kitchen/dining area with a dining table seating up to 6 people, a cozy lodge-style living room and utility room. Outside there are lots of green areas to play in summer and winter, plus a playground in the condo complex. There is also 1 travel crib available.

Style Notes

Mountain condo. This residence blends some classic ski cabin interior details with more modern elements, for a chic and elegant lodge-style stay. There are subtle references to the snowy setting, such as framed vintage ski artwork in the kitchen and images of mountain trails on the walls. But the contemporary styling makes it more unique and up-to-date: the distressed wood wall in the bedroom, soft grey colours and gold accents throughout. We love the striking black 4-poster bed, the classic stone fireplace in the living room, and the rustic wooden dresser in the dining room.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
