A simple yet stylish apartment in South Pigalle, with plenty of room for the kids and lots of Parisian elegance. It sleeps 6 + 1. This is a great space for families, with a large living area (which includes a desk for any parents who need to work) and 3 separate bedrooms for flexible sleeping options. When you’re ready to explore, this hip area is close to Montmartre, Palais Garnier and heaps of world-class museums.
Why Kids Love it
There are no toys or books for little ones here, but you’ll be well placed to explore the city’s family-friendly attractions. There’s a playground 5 minutes away on foot, and they’ll enjoy a day spent up at Sacré-Cœur Cathedral in Montmartre (15 minutes’ walk), where they can ride the funicular to save walking up the steps and discover the play areas and carousel in the grounds.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. The apartment is located on the first floor, and there is an elevator. There's 1 off-street parking spot in the garage - just let the host know if you'll be needing it. The host also a baby crib and highchair available on request. Two cats normally live in the apartment, so if you struggle with cat allergies, this isn't the pad for you.
About the Location
The apartment is located in Paris's unabashedly cool South Pigalle district. Nearby you’ll find a slew of hip bars and restaurants, as well as a host of must-see attractions up the road, including the sweeping views and labyrinthine cobbles of Montmartre, and that historic haunt of artists, the attractive Nouvelle-Athènes. The nearest subway stations are Saint-Georges, Pigalle and Blanche (5 minutes’ walk) and Saint-Lazare train station is 10 minutes’ walk. The airport is around half an hour by car or 1 hour by train.
Accommodation Details
The residence has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There’s an open plan living/dining room (with a table for 6) which boasts large windows to let in a fresh breeze in summer, as well as underfloor heating to keep toes warm in winter. This room leads to a separate kitchen with a breakfast bar for 2. The primary bedroom has a double bed and a TV, next to a bathroom with a soaking tub and overhead shower. The other 2 bedrooms also have double beds. The second bathroom has a walk-in shower, and there’s also a separate laundry room and WC.
Style Notes
Clean and contemporary. The hosts have chosen a simple palette and modern furniture, with strokes of bold color and vivid artwork. Everything has a gloss of the bohemian about it, apart from the large, cushy corner sofa which is all about comfort. We love the antique armoire in the living room, the all-blue kitchen and the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows.
