We had an idyllic stay at Le Macee! We were 2 families traveling with four adults, two 5 year olds, two 3 year olds and a 10 month old. The house easily accommodated all of us. Sabrina and her team took wonderful care of us, including our favorite night of the trip when Sabrina and team prepared an amazing meal/italian cooking lesson for us. Of note, the floors throughout (and stairs) are stone. It adds a wonderful coolness to the home even in hot summer months, but did pose a bit of a hazard to little knees. Baby gates are available in the home to block the stairs if needed. Also, while we were there, there were 2 cats on the property. They like to come in to the house for attention (and to try to sneak some food). They are very friendly, gentile and even allowed our children to pick them up and pet them, but they are outdoor cats with claws. Just something to be aware of if you are allergic. The view from the home is breathtaking, the home is well appointed and maintained, the pool is cold but useable and we very much hope to have the opportunity to come back - and have already recommended this home to friends and family. Don't miss the hammock for afternoon naps and the outdoor couches for prosecco and charcuterie in the afternoon!

Incredible property and home! Sabrina the house manager was amazing and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Would absolutely return.

Todi, Umbria

Italy's most liveable city

This medieval hill town south of Perugia is a photogenic place of movie-set piazzas, crenellated buildings and views. Eat gelato and wander the cobbled alleys, visit vineyards and bribe the kids with Perugia’s Baci chocolates.
