Why Kids Love it

Kids of all ages will love having their own private plunge pool, as well as the larger shared pool on site. This is a great location for animal lovers too - you can visit the nearby jungle preserves or listen to the tropical birdsong each morning… you might even spot a giant lizard wandering by. The beaches here are also perfect for kids, with soft white sand and sheltered clear waters making it easy for little ones to splash around. For a family day out, take a drive to Xel-Há Park (20 minutes away): think natural aquarium meets amusement park!

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. Daily housekeeping is not included, but can be added on for $50US per cleaning. Apartment is on the 2nd floor with a balcony. There is an elevator to each floor of the building and a receptionist and security team on site. Guests have private access to the apartment and plunge pool, but there are also shared facilities in the building: a laundry room, outdoor working space with WiFi and a communal pool, as well as a whole host of additional services on request (for an additional fee): professional chef, driver, on-site massages, daily cleaning, babysitting and a grocery delivery service so that everything will be in your fridge and ready to go before you arrive. The apartment comes with air conditioning, Bose Bluetooth speaker, beach towels and organic bath products. Parking is available, car rental is recommended. Please note that toys are not provided.

About the Location

The apartment is located on the most exclusive street in Aldea Zama in Tulum, Mexico. This area is very calm and quiet, yet close to the center which has a choice of restaurants (everything from little cafes to world-class eateries), bars, gyms, yoga studios and a spa. It’s located between the town and the beach (around 30 minutes’ walk or a short drive) - there is a paved bike path that makes it easy to walk to the beautiful white sands and turquoise waters! This part of Mexico is known for it’s famous cenotes; underground rivers and caverns that visitors can swim in and explore - there are 3 cenote sites just outside of Tulum. Visitors also flock to this area’s ancient Mayan ruins: Tulum’s world-renown archeological site is just 10 minutes’ drive on the northern end of the beach and Chichén-Itzá (one of the New 7 Wonders of the World) is 2 hours’ drive. The nearest airport is Cancun is 1.5 hours away.

Accommodation Details

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment has everything you'll need for a comfortable family stay. Each bedroom has a kingsize bed, a TV with Netflix and HBO, beautiful jungle views and luxury linens. The bathrooms feature walk-in showers plus organic bath products. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes and KitchenAid appliances to cook and dine at home (including a full oven/stove, a blender and a Nespresso coffee machine), while the living space is relaxed and cozy, yet also suitable for remote working. There is a dining table for 6 people. The residence boasts one of the fastest fiber optic stable internet connections in Tulum! A highchair and travel crib are available on request.

Sophisticated paradise. Designed by B-HUBER Architects, the apartment has been built with sustainability in mind to protect the environment - the hosts have used construction materials manufactured in Mexico and sourced goods from local artisans for much of the interior design, artwork, ceramics and products. The white walls and concrete floors set a modern yet minimal palette, with wood and soft textiles to add a natural, warm touch. We love the rich terracotta hues creating a natural, traditional look, as well as the chunky tree trunk stools and the shaggy textile light fixtures.

Payment policy
50% of the total cost of the stay is due on booking acceptance if the check in date is more than 12 weeks away, with the balance being charged at 12 weeks before check in. If the check in date is 12 weeks or less away, 100% of the total cost of the stay will be charged on booking acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
