Why Kids Love it

Suitable for children of all ages, the villa has a large garden where kids can play, with a playground with slides and swings, plus sandbox and pool. Arm bands and rubber rings are provided for non-swimmers. There is a volleyball court, a 5-aside football pitch with goal posts, a ping-pong table and basketball posts. All balls are supplied. Inside the house there is a games room and plenty of toys and games. Versilia beaches are 20 minutes away, with beaches for all tastes, from simple to luxurious. The Terme di Montecatini, famed for hot springs, are also an easy day-trip away, as is Pisa, Florence and many pretty Tuscan villages.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 days. Available for long or short term rentals. The house has stair gates and they can be set up for baby/toddler safety. Cribs can be added to bedrooms. Parking is close by. Car rental strongly recommended for getting the most from the semi-rural location. TV, WiFi, air conditioning, winter heating, linen and weekly cleaning are all included. Plenty of items for babies/toddlers included.

About the Location

The villa is in Altopascio, a commune in the province of Lucca between Pisa and Florence. It is surrounded by nature. Altopascio has a train station and bus routes nearby plus wineries and restaurants. Pisa is 35-50 minutes’ drive away and has the closest airport; Florence is approximately an hour’s drive away, and the beaches and coast at Versilia are 30-50 minutes away.

Accommodation Details

The 4-bedroom villa includes a kitchen, living room, dining room and 3 bathrooms, all shower-only. The bedrooms all sleep 2; 3 have double/full size beds and 1 has 2 twin beds. Two toddler beds and 3 cribs are available. There is a private gated garden, private parking, a playground area, and a private swimming pool. The outside pool is 8 x 4 m and 1.40 m deep with Roman steps and a shower; there is also an attached area with arbour, barbecue and dining table. There is a building with a game room, ping pong and many toys and games.

Style Notes

Modern luxury. This ancient farmhouse used to have stables, a barn, wine cellars and more, and has been completely renovated to provide a luxurious and homely place for families to stay. Set on 9,000 sqm. of land together with the original manor house, a summer home for the owners, it has an exclusive garden for guests. The former piggery has been transformed into a spa area with pool, hydro massage and massage table for beauty treatments, plus changing room and games room. We love the Tuscan touches (terracotta floor tiles, floral fabrics), the luxurious pool and the chic bedrooms.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
