Style Notes

Nature and harmony. This exquisite property dates from the 1800s and is named after the mythical Good Goddess of Nature. The rooms are decorated in traditional Tuscan style, rustic-looking on the outside, modern and functional inside and with a strong focus on quality, natural materials such as wood, terracotta, wrought iron, linen and cashmere. The swimming pool is fully exposed to the sun from dawn to sunset and offers throughout the day unparalleled views of the famed Tuscan landscape. The nearby pergola equipped for a pleasant barbeque and venerable oak tree both offer shelter from the sun or a sudden and brief summer shower. Born and raised in Como, I have then spent over ten years in the bustling Shanghai. Here I met my husband Giulio. We saw for the first time Bona Dea (an organic farmhouse within a UNESCO World Heritage park of Tuscany) in 2013 while looking for a great location to celebrate our wedding. We fell in love with the place and one year after we became the proud owners of this beautiful property. Now we also have a beautiful boy, Enea. Our aim is to be the trusted custodians of a Tuscan heritage and to preserve this immaculate land for Enea, other families and generations to come.

Tuscany, Italy

Olive groves, vineyards and rolling hills

This region of central Italy is as picture-perfect as you’ve heard: all rolling countryside, cypress trees, hazy views and historic stone villages. For those too young to enjoy wine, olive oil and relaxing, there are water parks, child-friendly heritage sites and theme parks, meadows and woods to play in, and donkeys to befriend. Hire a car and explore the surrounding area, buy fresh pasta to cook at home later, or spend afternoons in vineyards deciding which variety of Chianti you like the best.
