We are a easy going active California family that enjoys travel, the outdoors, surfing and skiing, the arts, and spending time with each other and our friends. Our kids (age 16 and 4) love to do the same :) We joined Kid and Coe bc we wanted to share our home and our love for the Venice Beach lifestyle with others.

Nicest experience ever. We were evacuated due to Malibu fires and lI found this house after some last minute searching for a home for my family. Jennifer could not have been more accommodating, welcoming and kind. (Ditto Kid and Coe who were super helpful). The house was such a balm for us all. The pool was an instant hit, the cosy kids' room full of lovely toys, the well-stocked kitchen, the yard they could run in, deck we could sit out and eat on - it's a haven in the heart of Venice and we loved every minute of it despite being panicked evacuees. Made us honestly consider taking a city break in Venice as an actual vacation despite only living a few miles away! Highly, highly recommend.

We had a great stay in Venice. My husband and I were there for five days with out two kids, 5 and 2. They loved the kids room — the small table, globe, tons of books and fun toys — and we had to pull them out of the pool everyday. We loved the location (!!!) the great big bathroom, and the comfy couch. Jenny is a great host!

Place was great. The home was big enough for us to stay comfortably with our 2 and 1 year old and also our au pair. The place was exactly as advertised and the host was easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions. The highlight of this home is the location. 2 blocks from beach / 2 blocks from Abbott Kinney. Was a great family trip!

Canals and Beaches

Soak up the sights and sounds on foot or by bike at Venice’s Ocean Front Walk - a 2.5 mile impromptu stage full of colorful artists and characters. If you’re feeling brave, Venice beach is a great spot for beginner surfers, otherwise relax in the sand. When you’re done in the sun, explore the manmade canals modeled after its namesake in Italy. Watch for ducks as they dart through the many arched bridges over the canals.
