Why Kids Love it

The hosts have lots of toys and books for guests to borrow during their stay, mostly for kids under 3. The house is just 2 blocks from an incredible playground, with a giant field and a new modern playscape. Parents with babies or toddlers will be happy to find a crib, a high chair, a changing table, children’s utensils and plenty of toys available. There’s also a large grassy area for kids to play and the yard is fully fenced in with a gate that closes, so you can set up fun activities in the driveway. When they’re ready to explore more, kids will love a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo or the Seattle aquarium downtown.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. Safety notes: the large driveway is gated and there is a fence surrounding the property. The property does have stairs but there are gates at the top and bottom. Access to the house is through a driveway between 2 homes and it is very secluded and private. The outdoor area includes an outdoor dining table, a grill and a fire pit. The residence comes with parking for 3 cars (car rental is recommended but not essential), air conditioning, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV (plus Xbox and Apple TV Chromecast for streaming), DVD player and WiFi.

About the Location

The residence is located 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. It’s just a few minutes’ drive to access Interstate 5 and it’s just 2 blocks to nearby bus stops. It’s only 1 mile from the Northgate Lightrail station (opens October 2021) which has parking and offers access to the city in 15 minutes. Target, QFC (Grocery Store), Best Buy and more are within a 5-minute drive. It’s easy to access Seattle’s water-front parks and all the famous tourist spots: visit the Space Needle, Pike Place Market or Seattle Art Museum (all around 15-20 minutes away). Seattle airport is around half an hour away.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. There is a large modern kitchen with a huge island, beautiful quartz worktops, Instapot stainless appliances, large double wide sink, a Kitchenaid mixer and Nutribullet. This open plan space also includes an open plan dining area, a large cozy living area with a fireplace and a further family living room with a 77” flatscreen TV, surround sound and vaulted ceilings. This room opens to a huge deck and the fabulous yard. The main floor also has an office/den with a full size murphy bed. Upstairs, the spacious primary bedroom (with kingsize bed) has vaulted ceilings and a glorious soaking tub and separate shower in the bathroom. This floor also has 2 further bedrooms (1 with a crib; 1 queensize bed) and another bathroom with bathtub and shower.
