This home is ideal for a family stay, with all the baby and toddler essentials you need to make it an easy, hassle-free trip with little ones. The bedrooms are all on the same floor, so you can easily check in on the kids at night, and parents will love the luxurious finish of this recently-refurbished home. When you’re ready to explore the city, it’s just a short stroll to the glorious Vondelpark and within easy reach of the sights.

Why Kids Love it

Children will love this fun house! There’s an amazing trampoline in the garden, a fully-equipped kids room with toys, board games, books, lego, bay blades, Nerf guns and a PlayStation4. Babies will feel at home in the lovely baby room, which comes with all the equipment you need for them including a baby monitor, changing area and crib. For mealtimes, there are 2 Tripp Trapp high chairs (including a newborn set) and a bottle warmer for baby milk - ask the hosts if there’s anything else you need for little ones. Kids of all ages will enjoy the amazing big playground situated right around the corner.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. Safety notes: there are stairs (with stair gates) on the ground floor; all windows and doors can be locked and mosquito fences are installed. Sorry - no pets are accepted in the residence (but the cat of the neighbors might sneak into the garden to say hello). There is no parking space here but the public transport is fast and efficient - locals get around by bike or tram. Note that this home is specifically for 1 family only and the host will not accept bookings from groups or multiple families.

About the Location

The residence is located in the lively and centrally located Cremerbuurt, just a few steps away from the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. Families enjoy the right balance between cozy bars and restaurants while retaining a quiet and residential feel. The apartment is situated 20 minutes from Schiphol airport by taxi or 25 minutes by public transport. It’s just 5 minutes’ walk to the beautiful Vondelpark and there’s a big playground for kids of all ages just right around the corner. Amsterdam city center, with all the beautiful canals and museums is just 8 minutes by tram (a tram station can be found around the corner) or with an easy 20-minute walk.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. Ground floor: an open plan living area containing the lounge, dining area and kitchen, as well as a a creative area towards the terrace and garden. There’s also an additional office with a convertible sofabed. First floor: a primary queensize bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a kids room with a double bed and small balcony, and a further kids/baby room with a crib and convertible single sofabed. The top floor also has a second bathroom with a bathtub. Outside, there’s a beautifully landscaped garden with lounge area, dining table, barbecue and trampoline.

Style Notes

Contemporary chic. This modern and bright home was renovated in 2021, and the host family have used many personally-selected design elements and carefully-chosen modern art elements. The property feels cozy and sunny, finished with seasonal flowers to add a natural feel. We love the large original doors leading out to the garden, with the charming balcony above, as well as the beautiful curved staircase and the gorgeous brass hardware in the bathrooms.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

This home is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and comfortable. The home was perfectly set up for our three younger children. There's a trampoline in the backyard, toys, books, high chairs, everything you need. Quiet neighborhood with a tram stop right around the corner, so you can get to the city very quickly. Wonderful communication with lots of information about the city and things to do that specific weekend. Spasena was a perfect host!

Ten million visitors a year can’t be wrong: the Vondelpark is Amsterdam’s largest city park, just to the south of Leidseplein and near some of the city’s key museums, and is one of its most popular family attractions. Play in multiple playgrounds sprinkled through its 120 acres, picnic, hire bikes or inline skates, or try outdoor art classes. P.C. Hoofstraat, around the east exit, is one of the city’s most desirable shopping streets, with concert halls, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum a couple of blocks away.
