Style Notes

Modern Amsterdam. The residence was completely renovated in 2016 and is a city monument. It has a typical contemporary Amsterdam style with solid wooden floors, new kitchen and Scandinavian design furniture mixed with vintage items. The colors are off-white and light green with some pastel colors and the house is very light and sunny. We love the gorgeous garden, the light and bright spaces and the statement copper light in the dining room.

Watergraafsmeer, Amsterdam

Vibrant, foodie and family-friendly

This area of east/central Amsterdam is vibrant, green and family friendly, with plenty of parks and playgrounds. It is near to Amsterdam Zoo, the ethnographic Tropenmuseum and plenty of local weekend markets. Nearby you’ll find canals, of course, along with the city’s science park, the Amstel train station and some wonderful restaurants, including De Kas and Dauphine.
