This rustic cabin with spectacular views of Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains sleeps up to 14 and is ideal for an extended family holiday. As the best ski resort in North America, Whistler Blackcomb offers exceptional skiing, snowboarding, and children’s winter sports programs. Surrounded by mountain trails and natural forests, the cabin is set up with kids in mind, with bunk beds, a theatre room, a popcorn machine, heated hardwood floors and a kids pool and water park a short walk away. In summer there endless hiking, mountain biking and golf on offer along with a series of summer camps for kids offering tennis, sailing, mountain biking and more. After a long day on the mountain, parents can enjoy a hot soak in the outdoor seven-person hot tub.

What we love

  • Great location: private and remote, yet close to skiing, hiking trails, and a fantastic community center with a swimming pool, squash courts, fitness classes, hockey rink and more, with a frozen lake in the winter to skate on
  • Four bedrooms, including a master suite with a comfortable queen bed, ensuite bathroom with heated floors, and a private balcony with mountain views
  • Two kids rooms with queen bunk beds and a single bed, sleeping up to 5 in each (so parents and kids can sleep in the same space)
  • Fourth bedroom with bunk beds sleeping 2
  • Individual heat control in each bedroom
  • Fully equipped family kitchen
  • Two bathrooms with showers, one bathtub
  • Home theatre, with plush leather cinema-style seating, a 50” plasma TV, and a popcorn machine
  • Outdoor 7-person hot tub with 76 jets, lighting, and a stereo system
  • Wood-burning stone fireplace in the living room
  • Rustic deck for enjoying the fresh air and mountain views

The white stuff

Known for its winter slopes, where skiing and snowboarders play from Thanksgiving to April each year, Whistler is North America’s number 1 ski resort. With a snow-covered village, white peaks and snow-based attractions for everyone, big or small, there’s plenty to do in season. In the summer, it’s anything but quiet, with music festivals rocking the hills, and the chance to spot bears from ski lifts and enjoy mountain barbecues as the sun goes down.
