It is spacious and ideal for a family stay in the area, perhaps with friends or an extended family. There is a full-sized kitchen, living area, and family room all on the second floor plus 3 dining areas - a main dining table with beautiful view of the bay, a kids/breakfast table in the kitchen, and an outdoor dining table which seats 8. Beach equipment is stored in the garage (beach chairs, toys, floats, etc.) All windows open and have screens, allowing for beautiful breezes coming off the bay.

Why Kids Love it

The home has plenty of toys, books, games, and beach toys, suitable for all ages. Large open areas allow everyone to have a space to themselves. There is a crib and a pack'n'play on the property. Plenty of baby equipment is provided including a booster chair and crib. There is a TV and DVD player in the family room. Lots of board games are included for all ages. The large back deck has a baby gate at the top of the stairs and there is a very large grassed back yard. It is a short walk from Woods Hole village, which has an aquarium, museums and child-friendly cafés; Stony Beach is fun for children too.

We love the string lights along the deck and stairs, the ocean views and the level of comfort throughout.

Woods Hole, Cape Cod

Oceanographic institutes and small town appeal

In the far southwest corner of Cape Cod, near Martha’s Vineyard, Woods Hole is a coastal village that blends culture and tradition in a unique salt-tinged way. World-renowned science research takes place in its facilities, while fishermen work nearby, museums entertain children and the Martha’s Vineyard ferry chugs from the harbour. Kids will love the aquarium and its touch tanks, riding bikes along the Shining Sea Bike Path and hunting for crabs at Stony Beach.
