Fontaine de Mars

An easy walk from the apartment, this historic spot opened in 1908 and is named for the fountain out front (which the kids can visit). The food is fantastic with wonderful options for children–it’s about as classic French cafe as you can get.

Francette

This restaurant is in a boat on the Seine. You will be sitting right below the Eiffel Tower with the perfect scenic view alongside boats cruising down the river. It’s excellent food and the kid’s meal comes with churros and chocolate sauce for dessert! Tip: Make a reservation before dark and be there for the Eiffel Tower lights turning on.

Rent Boats at the Grand Bassin

Watching children push toy boats around the Grand Bassin has been part of Luxembourg Gardens for almost 100 years. Sit back and relax while the kids spend time with their special rented boat.

Parc de Princes Stadium Tour

Traveling with any futbol (soccer) fans? This tour is a must. You move at your own pace around the inside and outside of the stadium. The kids will feel like they play for PSG for the day!

Ride the Merry-go-Round in Luxembourg Gardens

You’ll see a few carousels around Paris, but none are quite like this one in Luxembourg Gardens. The kids will feel like they stepped back in time on the merry-go-round built in 1879. Sit on the outside to get a “jousting stick” to play the ring-catching game called “le jeu de bagues.”

The View from Galeries Lafayette

The kids will love riding up all the escalators in this fabulous department store. There’s even a whole floor of kids’ clothes & toys. Step outside once you reach the top for breathtaking views of the city.

The Eiffel Tower Sparkle

It might be a late night for the kids, but try to stay up at least one night to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle. It’s pure magic!
