A large family home in the Algarve with a private pool, fun pool bar and luxuriously laid-back outdoor lounging areas - perfect for 2 families to share. It sleeps 10 + 1. The villa is nestled in a quiet village where you can find a playground, tennis courts and even a small supermarket, so you can relax at home without having to travel far. Miles of sandy beaches are within a walkable distance and the commercial area of Albufeira will have everything you need for emergencies or family meals out.

Why Kids Love it

The residence has board games for all the family, with a large living space indoors to relax as well as a big green garden for outdoor play. Kids will love the swimming pool, having juice at the pool bar, having a snack at the shaded outdoor dining table or swinging on the hammock. It’s a short walk from local playgrounds, tennis courts and beaches, which are generally safe and sandy, and full of families. For days out, it’s 15 minutes’ walk to a high ropes adventure park, 20 minutes’ drive to an aquarium and less than half an hour from outdoor waterparks and mini golf courses.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights.​ Safety notes: the pool is not gated and also not heated. The villa is accessed through a garden gate, which leads to private parking spaces - car rental is recommended. The house also has a WiFi system. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Faro airport is around 40 minutes by car.

About the Location

The house is located between Albufeira and Vilamore, in the Algarve region of Portugal. It’s close to one of the best beaches in Europe and the world - Praia da Falésia - which is just 10 minutes away. It boasts 7km of sandy shores and was recently voted as one of the Top 10 best beaches in the world. The beaches of Santa Eulalia or Balaia are also a 20-minute walk away. Within the Quinta da Balaia neighborhood you’ll find a practical mini-market, 6 tennis courts and a children's playground, just 200 meters from the house. Also nearby are water sports and several golf courses. Albufeira (10 minutes’ drive) has a larger choice of shops, supermarkets, services and restaurants. Vilamoura (20 minutes’ drive) is popular for golfing and has a pretty harbor with lots of restaurants.

Accommodation Details

The villa has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, all set on 1 floor. You’ll find a spacious living/dining room centered around a fireplace with a large window overlooking the pool and garden. This open plan space leads to a fully-equipped kitchen. The primary bedroom has a queensize bed, while bedrooms 2 and 3 both have 2 small double beds - ideal for siblings to share. The fourth bedroom has 4 single beds (2 twins plus 2 stackable mattresses underneath that can be used separately). The 3 bathrooms have walk-in showers, no bathtubs. The final bathroom is a WC. Outside there is a large private pool, with a pool bar, a BBQ, cozy patio, outdoor dining area and huge garden. Sun loungers are available around the pool, where you can relax with a cool drink directly from the poolside bar.

Style Notes

Contemporary country house. This spacious and modern house retains a traditional Mediterranean style with updated interiors and stylish features to suit family living. The villa is comfortably furnished, with all modern appliances and new bathrooms, yet finished with laid-back natural materials such as wood and wicker to create a rustic yet luxurious feel. We love the sliding interior doors to the bathrooms, the tree-trunk frame desks and the gorgeous natural wood cabinetry in the kitchen.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
