Perks for the Parents

This is a 2,700 sq ft residence with 4 huge ensuite bedrooms, all fitted out with high end fixtures, including an in-shower steam spa and jetted tub in the downstairs master bedroom. Other perks include a gourmet kitchen, a separate lounge and family room, cable TV and Netflix. The fourth bedroom doubles as a home gym with a treadmill, free weights and an exercise mat. It’s a great property for a multigenerational break or trip with another family, with room to spread out.

Why Kids Love it

With two main living areas on the first floor, there is a lot of room for kids of all ages. The private fenced back yard, Netflix, Wii and books and games provided will keep them busy. The location is great, just 5 minutes from Kidspace Children’s Museum and the Rose Bowl Stadium. Along with window seat beds, a pack’n’play and booster/high chair are available. There’s also a family room with TV, DVD player, surround sound system, cable TV, and digital video recorder (DVR).

Things to Know

The home is set over 2 stories and has no stair gates. The main 3 bedrooms all have attached bathrooms with showers and bathtubs. There is a walk in shower in the main bathroom on the first floor. All bar one bedroom are upstairs; the downstairs bedroom has a door to the garden. Additional beds are available: 1 travel crib and 1 single air bed. The large backyard is fully fenced. All utilities are included. Dogs are welcome. There is driveway parking. Freeway access is 2 minutes away.

About the Location

This is a convenient location for visiting downtown LA, in a community close to the mountains yet 20 minutes from the city. The residence is 3 miles from Old Town Pasadena and is close to hiking trails. There is a Trader Joe’s nearby and it is walking distance to a 24-hour gym and a local market. Other family friendly travel stops nearby include LA Zoo (15 minutes), Universal Studios (20 minutes) and Six Flags Magic Mountain (30 minutes).

Accommodation Details

This 4 bedroom Spanish-style home has a ground floor bedroom plus 3 upstairs bedrooms. The bedrooms have king, queen and double beds, and the 4 bathrooms include a mix of showers and luxury tubs. There is a large living room, separate dining room, comfortable family room with multiple entertainment systems and a gourmet kitchen. The large back yard is fenced and great for kids.

Style Notes

Bright, modern and comfortable, the residence has cream walls, wooden floors and luxurious fixtures and fittings throughout, from the superior bathrooms to the marble-topped counters in the kitchen. Living areas have inviting sofas and bedrooms are uncluttered and peaceful, with ceiling fans. French doors open from the family room to the back yard for an indoor-outdoor feel.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
