This is a great family home for up to 7 plus a baby, with a private back yard and small childrens play structure. This home is ideal for any family visiting the Los Angeles area, located within easy reach of key attractions and close to local shops. The kitchen is well appointed and set up for family dining and gourmet meals. The master bedroom has a large luxury bathroom with jetted showe, and a walk-in closet.

Why Kids Love it

The Pasadena and Altadena area offers a great jumping off spot with blockbuster attractions from Six Flags Magic Mountain to Los Angeles Zoo nearby. Kids can play in the back yard while you use the BBQ. The residence is walking distance to a local park and under 5 minutes’ drive to Kidspace Children’s Museum and Rose Bowl Aquatics center. Toys are provided along with a pack’n’play, booster/ high chair and stroller.

Things to Know

Note that holiday and New Year rates are higher. There is a 7 night minimum stay at New Year at $600/night. ($672/night including tax). Rates include county of Los Angeles 12% TOT. The dining table pulls out to add room for extra guests. Walking distance to 24 Hour Fitness gym and a local market. Dogs are welcome. The large back yard is fenced. Driveway parking.

About the Location

The residence is in Pasadena, 20 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, Staples Center, Dodger Stadium and Burbank, and 3 miles to Old Town Pasadena and the annual Rose Parade. It is 2.5 miles to Rose Bowl, close to hiking trails and Trader Joe’s market. Nearby child-friendly attractions include Los Angeles Zoo (15 minutes), Universal Studios (20 minutes), Hollywood Boulevard (25 minutes) and Six Flags Magic Mountain (30 minutes). Freeway access 2 minutes away.

Accommodation Details

This 1 story California-style updated bungalow has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a living room with pull out bed, TV and wood burning fireplace. There is a family kitchen. Two double bedrooms at the front of the house share a bathroom while the large master bedroom at the back has a big screen TV, walk-in closet and bathroom with walk in shower. The back yard has fruit trees, grape vines and a dining area.

Style Notes

This home was designed with the family in mind. Light and spacious, there is room to play inside and out, and decor is cozy and pretty. There are wood and marble floors, floral bedlinens and a comfortable leather sofa in the lounge area. The lawned garden has fruit trees and a patio for dining. The separate dining room is sophisticated with white chairs, gray walls and a large wooden table.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
