The ultimate in pared-back luxury, this beautiful new beach resort is the first from OKU to offer a family-friendly setting. Choose from standard rooms to 2-bedroom suites - there’s also a private 4-bedroom villa tucked into the hills to sleep 8. You’ll find a relaxed restaurant on site (To Kima) serving bites throughout the day, as well as the signature OKU restaurant opening by night. Those looking for more of a relaxation experience can retreat to the sprawling spa with indoor pool, hammam and meditation courtyard.
Why Kids Love it
This is the only OKU location that offers a chic kids club (for ages 4-12) with tennis camps, activities on the water, a taste of local culture and more. For children aged 0-4, babysitting can also be arranged on request. They’ll love the outdoor swimming pool and can choose between days here or building sandcastles down at the beach. For days out, visit Zoo de Castellar animal sanctuary (25 minutes’ drive) or head into the city of Algeciras (half an hour away) where there’s an aquarium, beach-front parks and more.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 1 night. Rates, cancellation policy and payment policy varies - the hotel team will advise on booking. The beach club is adults only, as is one of the outdoor pools. The indoor spa pool has selected times open to children. The resort offers room service as well as the on-site restaurants, a 24-hour reception, and can arrange transportation or airport transfers on request. Kids menus are available in all restaurants. A crib can be added to all rooms on request (no fee).
About the Location
The resort is located in Andalusia on the southern coast of Spain. It’s set on a secluded stretch of white sand beach with the backdrop of the region’s mountains and views over Africa. There are restaurants on the beach (open seasonally) and it’s within walking distance of a supermarket so a rental car is not essential unless you want to explore the wider area. Visit Sotogrande or Valderrama golf club in 15 minutes by car, or Marbella in 45 minutes. The nearest airport is Gibraltar (25 minutes) or Malaga (1.5 hours).
