Why Kids Love it

Adventurous children can take full advantage of the treehouse, swings and grassy outdoor spaces to run around. There’s also a game room inside with a pool table and a cozy couch for watching their favorite movies. There is 1 pack-and-play available on request. In downtown Angel Fire (5 minutes’ drive) there’s a park and playground, tubing trails in the ski resort, bakeries and pizza places for easy family meals.

Things to Know

The property is looked after by a professional management company who are happy to help with concierge requests. There are no public trash removal services in Angel Fire so guests are responsible for removing their trash - instructions will be provided. Dogs are welcome on request (for a fee of $150 per pet) with plenty of room for them to run around outside an outdoor shower for muddy paws, boots or bikes. Please leave outdoor shoes by the door and lock all doors and windows when you go out. No open flames (except the fireplace), candles, smoking or fires outside the house due to the risk of forest fires.

About the Location

The house is located in the popular resort town of Angel Fire in New Mexico. There are extensive hiking and biking trails throughout Carson National Forest, including a trek up New Mexico’s highest mountain, Wheeler Peak. Angel Fire Resort offers skiing, golf, ziplining and mountain biking, with more opportunities nearby for horseback riding at Nancy Burch’s Roadrunner Tours, rafting, kayaking and fly fishing at New Mexico River Adventures. Colefax County regional airport is just 15 minutes’ drive; Albuquerque international airport is 3 hours away. Note that in the winter, heavy or sudden snowfall can make for difficult driving conditions. We recommend guests use vehicles equipped with 4WD to better handle the roads.

Accommodation Details

The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with a detached 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom guest house. You’ll find a stunning living area with lots of windows to let in natural light, which is surrounded by a wraparound balcony. This open plan space leads to a dining area and kitchen with a breakfast bar. The lofted primary bedroom has a kingsize bed, futon, desk and ensuite bathroom, with a gallery overlooking the main space. The first guest room has a kingsize bed while the second guest room has a queensize bed. The guest house (with raised level entrance) has a kingsize bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with separate access.

Payment policy
Kid & Coe will collect 50% of the total stay as a deposit if the check-in date of stay is more than 12 weeks away. The remaining balance of 50% will be collected at 12 weeks from check in. If the booking is made within 12 weeks of the check-in date, the full amount of the stay will be charged at time of booking acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified at 12 weeks or more from the check in date, Guests can either opt for a full credit equal to the value of the amount paid, or opt for a monetary refund less 10% of the total cost of the booking, given as a Kid & Coe credit. For cancellations notified at 12 weeks or less, no refunds will be given.
