Sleek and stylish. This family home has beautiful designer fixtures and furnishings that can survive children. It is all recently painted throughout. The double height living space has a feature brickwork chimney wall and other lounge spaces include Acapulco chairs, leather sofas, fluffy poufs and interesting artwork. We love the photography on the walls, the ghost chair in the master bedroom study and the white walls throughout. It is all modern, fresh and fun.

I am extremely lucky to have a wonderful wife and even more so baby boys - everything else in life becomes perfect. I work in International Development and travel a lot. I love luxury, in other words - I don't backpack, and i am known for enjoying holidays by doing nothing but relaxing in a gorgeous villa or apartment with only the cascading sounds of my very large music collection...which has more recently been accompanied with an infants cry. My wife has sculpted this home to be a wonderful and inspiring place for our children to grow and do so safely. We'd love to share it with you.

Arlington , Virginia

History, heritage and parks

Part of the Greater Washington DC area, Arlington is just across the Potomac River from the Smithsonian Museums, The White House, The Capitol and all the other nationally important sights the city has to offer. Linked seamlessly by the metro system, it is an easy suburb to stay in, filled with families, retired service personnel and government officials. Play in Bluemont Park, where there is a play space shaped like a train, visit the Saturday Farmer’s Market for gelato and organic treats, and be sure to visit the Iwo Jima Memorial, with the Washington Monument in the background.
