A spacious family villa with an infinity pool, river views and a cozy kids bunk room. It sleeps 11 + 1. This home is great for 2 families to share, with all-ensuite bedrooms and plenty of space to relax, indoors and outdoors, so everyone can have their own privacy. Take the host’s kayak or paddle board out to explore the river, head to the sandy beaches or hike the picturesque trails of this mountainous region - this is an off-the-beaten track vacation spot for those looking for an adventure.

Why Kids Love it

The property has plenty of space for kids to enjoy. There are a few toys to play with, and they’ll love sharing the bunk room with siblings or friends. A crib, high chair can be provided. The pool is perfect for all-day swimming (with space for parents to watch from the surrounding loungers) and it’s 2 minutes by car to reach 2 local beaches that are ideal for little kids.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights during summer and 3 days over the rest of the year. Safety notes: the pool is fenced with a child lock. The house has a modern system to control humidity, something that most properties don’t have in this region. The house has a firepit and an electrical fireplace for the cooler months. Pets are allowed on request. The lot has a large parking space for at least 10 cars - car rental is recommended.

About the Location

This home is located in the region of La Ría de Villaviciosa, one the most well-kept sceneries of the North of Spain and Asturias. The house benefits from the most beautiful views in the whole of Asturias, from a very private location overlooking the river. The village of Tazones has a few restaurants and a fishing pier, plus hiking trails that run along the coastline. The larger town of Villaviciosa has supermarkets, parks and picturesque architecture to explore. Bilbao is 2.5 hours away; Santander is 1.5 hours away.

Accommodation Details

The villa has 4 ensuite bathrooms and 5 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. On the first floor you’ll find a double bedroom, a guest WC, the dining room, the fully equipped kitchen and the living room. This floor has a deck overlooking the river with an outdoor dining table and BBQ. On the lower floor, there’s 1 double bedroom, a bunk room sleeping 5 and another twin room. This floor also has a laundry room and access to the pool, the garden and a dining table in a covered terrace.

Style Notes

Simple and stylish. The house has modern and functional furniture, with super comfortable beds and quality bed linen for a truly relaxing stay. The house is being improved year after year with a designer, currently featuring natural wooden materials and calming neutral tones. We love the contemporary outdoor deck, the Scandi-style kids room and the contemporary black windows.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
