Well-set up for a family stay, it has a master bedroom with double bed, kids bedroom with double bed and a lounge with a double sofa bed. The most important things to see in Athens are within walking distance: the Acropolis and, at its feet, the traditional neighborhood of Plaka; Monastiraki; The National Gardens; Ermou Street shopping area; Kolonaki; The Temple of Olympian Zeus and The Panathenaic Stadium.
Why Kids Love it
The apartment has space for a small family and has a dedicated kids bedroom that can sleep up to 2-3 children. A 20-minute walk from the Acropolis and 10 minutes from Syntagma Square, it is well located for walking to key sights in the city. A crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request. Set on a calm and quiet street, it is an ideal haven to return to after exploring the city. Note that the residence has a family bathroom with shower for the kids, no bath, as is typical in Greece. This unique hideaway is in a lively neighborhood with bars, restaurants and shops.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 2 nights. The apartment is on the 1st floor of a very centrally located building and has been fully renovated. Car rental is not essential: much of the city is walking distance away and there are easy public transit routes nearby. Quite near, there are many car rental companies, banks, drug stores, supermarkets, bakeries, bars and restaurants. There is a common laundry area with washer-dryer available on request.
About the Location
The apartment is in a very central part of the city, 10 minutes on foot from the central square of Syntagma. There are 2 metro stations (Syntagma - a direct line from the airport - and Panepistimio) within a short walk. The apartment is 440m from Syntagma metro station and the bus service linking the region to the north, south, and east suburbs, and Piraeus harbour. Taxis can be easily found at the central streets just next to the apartment. Athens international airport is 40 minutes away.

Style Notes
Pastel perfection. This elegant apartment takes elements of its 1950s heritage to create a simple, modern and fresh place to stay in the center of Athens. With soft grey and blush pink walls plus accents of pine and modern Scandinavian design, it is a budget-friendly but stylish place to lay your head. We love the pot plants, the space-saving hanging rails and the colorful throw pillows in the lounge.

Athens, Greece Mainland
Ancient ruins and modern families
Running around ancient ruins, picnicking in the shade of palm trees and buying koulouri, the sesame bread that the Athenians love so much, are just a few treats to look forward to on a trip to Athens. Don’t worry about the kids getting bored, the modern museums beside the city's archaeological sites know how to keep everyone occupied. If all else fails, a cable car trip up Mount Likavitos with an ice-cream at the top is always a good solution. Our local residences near markets and key attractions make a trip to the city with kids as easy as Greek spinach pie.
