Style Notes

Pretty pastels. Inspired by Art Deco, the hosts have combined classic and contemporary style to create a modern, comfortable space with chic appeal. Vintage furnishings, soft grays and pastel color schemes make this lovely apartment extra comfortable. We love the floor-to-ceiling windows, the pretty pink rug and the open frame wardrobe in the primary bedroom.

Barcelona, Spain

Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks

The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
