Style Notes

Deco drama. The apartment is surrounded by notable homes from the Art Deco period, and you’ll see features from this eva throughout the home (such as the original windows and doors and elegant brassware) as well as relaxed Moroccan-inspired styling. We love the 1930s-inspired frame motifs in the bedroom, the patterned tile headboard and the contrasting exposed brick wall in the living room.

Barcelona, Spain

Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks

The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
