Why Kids Love it

While there are no toys or books for kids here, you’ll be well placed to explore the family-friendly sights of the city. About the Location

The apartment is located in the heart of the L’Eixample neighborhood, known for its authentic experience thanks to the many Catalan locals. It’s a 20-minute walk to Las Ramblas, the bustling boulevard filled with high-end shops and a huge selection of first-class restaurants. The famous la Sagrada de Familia, Gothic Quarter and Barcelona’s beautiful beaches are all just a 20-minute metro ride away. The airport is around half an hour away.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It’s located on the 4rd floor and there is an elevator. You’ll find a small living/dining area, with doors separating off a bedroom (with 2 single beds). The primary bedroom has a double bed, and there’s a separate kitchen. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Style Notes

Exotic in Eixample. The hosts have used exotic inspiration from far-away lands to create a tropical-style scheme. We love the botanical print wallpaper, the quirky wooden sliding doors and the cane furniture detailing.

Barcelona, Spain

Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks

The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
