The fantastic balconies from the bedrooms offer a great view of the bustling neighborhood - a great spot for morning coffee. When you’re ready to explore, it’s 10 minutes’ walk to the Museum of Contemporary Art and 10 minutes from the busy streets of Poble-sec.

Why Kids Love it

While there are no toys or books for kids here, you’ll be well placed to explore the family-friendly sights of the city. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from a small playground and indoor play center, and just 20 minutes’ walk to the coast, where you’ll find the child-friendly Maritime Museum, the city aquarium and miles of sandy beaches.

Things to Know

Premium amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, hotel beds and linens, luxury toiletries, and a Nespresso machine. There is no bathtub. No smoking, pets or parties. The local law requires every guest to present an ID card/passport upon their arrival to the apartment. Deposit fees will be collected on-site. City tax applied according to the municipality laws and will vary based on number of guests and nights. A damage deposit will be collected by credit card. The deposit will be fully reimbursed a few days after check-out subject to an inspection of the property.

About the Location

The apartment is located in the heart of the L’Eixample neighborhood, known for its authentic experience thanks to the many Catalan locals. It’s a 20-minute walk to Las Ramblas, the bustling boulevard filled with high-end shops and a huge selection of first-class restaurants. The famous la Sagrada de Familia, Gothic Quarter and Barcelona’s beautiful beaches are all just a 20-minute metro ride away. The airport is around half an hour away.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It’s located on the first floor, with an elevator. There’s a long living room with a small table, and a separate kitchen with a dining table seating 6. Three of the bedrooms have double beds; the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds and the final bedroom has 1 single bed. Both bathrooms have walk–in showers.

Payment policy
For cancellations notified at 3 weeks or more from the check-in date, guests can opt for a full credit equal to the value of the amount paid minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the booking, which will be retained by Kid & Coe. We will not allow refunds for cancellations notified at 3 weeks or less from the check-in date. City tax will vary based on number of guests and nights and will be charged by the host separately once a booking has been accepted (although subject to change, the rates generally range from €0.50 to €5,75 per person, per night). A damage deposit will also be collected by credit card. The deposit will be fully reimbursed a few days after check-out subject to an inspection of the property.

Apartment was sizeable and comfortable, great central location. The air conditioning system works well and was appreciated on hot summer days. Prospective renters should know that this apartment is run by an outside service and as such, many of the personal touches that one might expect at this price point are not present. There is no guidebook, no recommendations for transportation options, no instructions for trash removal, laundry, or appliance instructions, for example. I was given an 800 number to call with questions and for all 3 of the times I called, I stayed on hold for 15 minutes before giving up. That was frustrating. It would have been helpful to have a human to speak to, again, at this decent price point I was paying. I would recommend extra towels be provided to future guests.
