Style Notes

Bold and brave. In this refurbished 1875 building, the host has created a unique modern haven. Bold colors and patterns fill the space, while full-length windows let in the Mediterranean sunlight. We love the bold lip motif in the living room, the contrasting kitchen countertop and the cute fairy lights in the bedroom - ideal for kids!

Barcelona, Spain

Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks

The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
