Deco glamor. This home is full of art deco-inspired touches, such as the gold details in the living room and the golden trim around the bedroom. We love the wall-hung plants, the sleek white kitchen and the sophisticated contemporary bathroom.

Barcelona, Spain

Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks

The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
