Style Notes
Colorful contemporary. In a restored 19th-century building, the host has created a bold, colourful space with striking artwork on the walls in the living spaces to reference the artistic history of the city. We love the mid century living room furniture, the sophisticated all-white kitchen and the unique wire art wall feature in the bedroom.

Barcelona, Spain
Sunshine, sand and sculpture parks
The city that Gaudí built has sunshine, sandy beaches and sculpture parks to explore as a family, as well as a culture that embraces children. It’s a great place to stay if you can’t decide on a beach holiday or a city break – Barcelona has both, along with cobbled streets, castles, the football mecca of Camp Nou and the famous Ramblas. Food features heavily in any Spanish trip and Barcelona is no exception – be sure to get the kids to try paella, tapas and local chocolate, and introduce them to the delights of Spanish culture via Park Güell, and paintings by Dalí and Miró.
