A spacious apartment in the heart of the city, just steps from the Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona. It sleeps 6. It’s a 15-minute walk to the architectural gems in the Gothic Quarter and some of the city’s best museums, but the stand-out part of this neighborhood is the Plaza Catalunya itself - a sculpture-filled square lined with trees and fountains, circled by a whole host of shops and eateries to make it a hassle-free stay in the city.

Why Kids Love it

The apartment doesn’t stock toys or books for young children, but it’s located in a central spot which makes it easy to explore the city’s family-friendly attractions. It’s a 20-minute walk to the waterfront, which boasts a beach, harbor, aquarium and cable car rides, or take a stroll to the beautiful gardens of Ciutadella Park, which is home to Barcelona Zoo, children’s playground and a boating lake (also 20 minutes’ walk). A high chair and a crib are available on request.

Things to Know

Premium amenities include free WiFi, TV, hotel beds and linens, luxury toiletries, and a Nespresso machine. The apartment is located on the second floor with an elevator. No smoking, pets or parties. The local law requires every guest to present an ID card/passport upon their arrival to the apartment. Deposit fees will be collected on-site. City tax applied according to the municipality laws and will vary based on number of guests and nights. A damage deposit will be collected by credit card. The deposit will be fully reimbursed a few days after check-out subject to an inspection of the property.

About the Location

Located in a beautiful building in the bustling, central Plaza Catalunya neighborhood, this spacious apartment is just around the corner from the famous Plaza - a central area teeming with great shops, dining, attractions and museums. The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (10 minutes), the Santa Anna Cathedral (5 minutes) and the Fountain of Canaletes (5 minutes) are a short walk away and it’s easy to get around by bus (2 minutes away) or from the Universidad metro stop (4 minutes away). The airport is around 40 minutes by public transport or 25 minutes by car.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all set over 1 floor. A fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for making family meals with fresh local ingredients, and leads to an open plan living/dining room. There’s a primary bedroom with a double bed, a sharing room with 2 double beds plus a third guest room, also with a double bed. The main bathroom has a shower-over-bathtub.

Old meets new. Inspired by the historic nature of this grand building, the hosts have chosen chic furniture to accent the hardwood floors and tiled bathrooms. Large windows and high ceilings give the apartment an extra roomy feel and guests will enjoy the great views from the outdoor balcony. We love the contemporary 4-poster bed, the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living space and the unique wall paneling in the sharing room.

Payment policy
For cancellations notified at 3 weeks or more from the check-in date, guests can opt for a full credit equal to the value of the amount paid minus a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the booking, which will be retained by Kid & Coe. We will not allow refunds for cancellations notified at 3 weeks or less from the check-in date. City tax will vary based on number of guests and nights and will be charged by the host separately once a booking has been accepted (although subject to change, the rates generally range from €0.50 to €5,75 per person, per night). A damage deposit will also be collected by credit card. The deposit will be fully reimbursed a few days after check-out subject to an inspection of the property.
