Perks for the Parents

A pared-back apartment in Battersea, south London with luxurious elegant interiors and an easy open plan layout. It sleeps 5. Parents will love the primary suite here, which is furnished with delicate neutral textiles and features a spacious ensuite with a bathtub for long leisurely soaks. Battersea is a great area for in-the-know parents to explore the city: within 15 minutes’ walk you’ll find a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, charming cafes and coffee shops, and miles of riverside walks alongside the water.

Why Kids Love it

While there are no toys or books for little one, there’s plenty to play with at nearby Battersea Park - one of the city’s best parks for kids! You’ll find an epic children’s adventure playground, a Go Ape treetop climbing trail, a boating lake and a petting zoo. For family days out, it’s 20 minutes by car (or on the bus) to South Kensington for the city’s best museums: the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum and the V&A.

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. This property comes with 1 parking space in a safely gated area behind the building. This apartment has lift access. The first bedroom can sleep 2 guests in one super king bed, or separate into 2 singles. The sofa bed is a single, better suited to 1 adult (or 2 small children), and is probably best for any guests joining for a shorter stay. The hosts have a portable air conditioning unit and sleek Dyson fan for the summer months.

About the Location

This apartment is located just 1 block away from Battersea Park in south London. It’s 20 minutes’ walk from both Clapham Junction and Battersea Park train stations, for access to the overground line and national rail networks across the city. You can also catch a bus at the end of the street to take you over Battersea Bridge to Chelsea’s Kings Road in under 10 minutes (or walk it in 15-20). Heathrow airport is around 1 hour away by car or train.

The property has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all set on 1 floor. There is an open plan living/dining room and kitchen, with a single sofabed for extra guests. The primary bedroom boasts an ensuite bathroom and a kingsize bed that can be split into 2 singles on request; the second features a traditional kingsize bed. Style Notes

White and light. This neutral-toned residence is the perfect place for a calm, restful retreat. The white color palette stretches across all rooms, with soft greys and wooden floors to complement. We love the luxurious tiling in the bathroom, those cute arched windows and the large contemporary art map print in the hallway.

Battersea, London

Thames walks and park strolls

South of the river, but only just, family-friendly Battersea is known for its power station - a major local landmark - and its excellent park, home to a mini zoo, boating lake and duck pond. Lavender Hill and Clapham Junction nearby have great pubs and cafés and just across the Thames are the chi-chi areas of Chelsea and Pimlico. It’s well connected by train and bus to the city at large.
