Perks for the Parents
An eccentric townhouse just a few steps from Battersea Park, with unique interiors and original period features. It sleeps 8. Explore the new eateries and shops at the recently renovated Battersea Power Station or visit the early morning produce market at the New Covent Garden Market (both around 15 minutes’ walk). Take the kids to wander the riverside paths within Battersea Park (which are also great for running) for boat-spotting on the Thames and views over Chelsea.
Why Kids Love it
While the house doesn’t have toys or books for children, this area is fantastic for families. Battersea Park (1 block away) is one of London’s best parks for kids, with an adventure playground, petting zoo, Go Ape tree-top trail, boating lake and family-friendly cafe. Kids will love exploring the city by boat: catch the ferry from Battersea Power Station for a relaxed yet picturesque way to travel up into the city.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. Please note that a dog lives here and although he won't be on site during guests stays, those with allergies should be aware. A portable electric fan will be left in the house for summer stays. This home sleeps 6 guests comfortably, but if more space is needed, guests are welcome to use the double sofabed in the living room.
About the Location
The house is located 1 street away from Battersea Park in south London. It’s a 10-minute walk to both Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations, for access to overground rail and the underground. Battersea is a family-friendly, vibrant area with plenty of restaurants, pubs, entertainment venues, shops and weekend markets. A 15-minute subway ride will take you to Victoria or Waterloo in central London. It’s also just a 5-minute drive (or 20-minute walk) over the river to Chelsea. Heathrow airport is around 1 hour away by train or car.

Global traveler. This truly unique home is full of one-of-a-kind artifacts and unusual features, with a global-inspired color palette of deep rich tones. Battersea, London
Thames walks and park strolls
South of the river, but only just, family-friendly Battersea is known for its power station - a major local landmark - and its excellent park, home to a mini zoo, boating lake and duck pond. Lavender Hill and Clapham Junction nearby have great pubs and cafés and just across the Thames are the chi-chi areas of Chelsea and Pimlico. It’s well connected by train and bus to the city at large.
