Accommodation Details
The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The cozy living room features a stone fireplace and leads to a balcony (with outdoor seating and a BBQ) as well as the open plan contemporary kitchen, which has a breakfast bar seating 4. This floor also has the primary bedroom (with queensize bed) and a bathroom/utility room (with a shower over bathtub and washer/dryer). Upstairs to a mezzanine floor, you’ll find the kids room with a set of bunk beds and a single trundle bed, as well as a cool swinging chair. This leads to the second bathroom with a walk-in shower and the play space. The hosts also have 1 double sofabed and 1 travel crib available.
Style Notes
Modern Boho. The hosts have recently remodeled the residence with mixed tactile textures, patterned textiles and rustic wood materials to create a relaxed, bohemian style. It still retains a smart and contemporary edge, thanks to the modern gray kitchen and sleek elegant bathrooms. Artwork is all locally sourced by artists in Bend, framed by a natural palette of neutral tones and cozy brown and red hues to create a warm, welcoming space. We love the panel design work on the primary bedroom wall, the magical forest mural in the children’s bedroom and the unique woven easy chairs in the living room.

Bend, Oregon
The sunny mountain town
With 300 plus days of sunshine per year, along with an excess of outdoor activities for kids, there’s plenty to recommend Bend. Listed as one of the 52 places to see in the world by The New York Times Travel section in 2015, it is close to ski resorts and lakes ideal for tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Treat dad to a trip to a local microbrewery (they are kid-friendly too) and don’t miss the High Desert Museum, where you can meet the local wildlife.
