The large, open plan living space works perfectly for families, while the facilities and location, 12 minutes from downtown, ensure nobody will be bored.

This fabulous home has plenty to entertain the kids: the property has shared access to a pool, hot tub, private lake with tandem kayaks, playground for the kids, outdoor bar, outdoor BBQ, gazebo, horseshoe pit, goats and horses. It is surrounded by breathtaking Rocky Mountain views as you play in the garden or hike up to the ridge for a picnic.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. The hosts will also collect 4.5% tax on arrival from the guest in cash or check. The house is set up for families; note that young children may need supervision on the play equipment in the backyard and should be supervised by the pool and lakeside. Note that the pool is not gated; it is set away from the house. Stairs can be gated on request. It is managed by Home Host, a complete concierge service that can provide anything from turndown service to personal assisting, private chauffeuring, or guided fishing trips. All guests receive a gift basket full of local products and offers with local Boulder companies including free wine, beer, free desserts, discounted yoga classes and more. All general cooking utensils and pots/pans and standard condiments are provided for your stay.

About the Location

The residence is set on 30 acres and is to the northeast of central Boulder, around 12 minutes’ drive to downtown. It feels like you are away from it all in a quintessential Colorado farm, but it is minutes to downtown Boulder, the University of Colorado, and Pearl Street, with all its world class restaurants and shopping. There is a convenient RTD bus line with a stop just outside the front gate of the estate; as well as service from both Lyft and Uber. The concierge service can help provide car services or private drivers for all your transportation needs. The city is also very cyclist friendly and, if you are interested in renting bicycles, they can be arranged. Boulder Municipal Airport is a 6-minute drive away.

Accommodation Details

This Boulder farm on 30 acres has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main floor includes a spacious open plan kitchen-lounge-dining area with a snug seating area beside a fireplace. Upstairs bedrooms include 1 with kingsize beds and 2 with queensize beds, and space for 2 air mattresses. Bathrooms include tubs and showers. The grounds are expansive and include facilities shared with 2 other small properties: a swimming pool, hot tub, lawned garden with play area, lakeshore area with kayaks and a gym and games room.

Style Notes

Contemporary country. This bright and vibrant home is packed with luxury touches to make a stay here with children easy and comfortable. The main open plan living space downstairs includes a brickwork wall and roaring fire, plus unusual tall wooden sculptures. Upstairs bedrooms are carefully decorated with details included a painted screen, Asian masks and children’s art. We love the summerhouse in the garden with its swing chair, the fantastic scenery and mountain views from nearly every room, and the expansive grounds and facilities.

Payment policy
100% of the total cost of the stay will be taken when a booking is accepted. If the check in date is more than 6 weeks away, this will be taken in 2 payments - 30% and 70%. If the check in dates is 6 weeks or less away, 100% will be taken in one transaction.
Cancellation policy
Strict cancellation policy: the guest will receive 50% refund up to 60 days prior to arrival. Kid & Coe will also charge a cancellation fee of €150. If the stay is cancelled 60 days or less before arrival, no refunds will be given. We strongly recommend guests take out adequate travel insurance to cover all eventualities.
